DECLARATION 12:  "I model rich and successful people. I associate with rich and successful people. If they can do it, I can do it."

According to Harv:

In his seventh Wealth File, T. Harv Eker states, "Rich people associate with positive, successful people. Poor people associate with negative or unsuccessful people." Rich and motivated people will seek out what they are looking for or want to be or become. What is it that you are looking for? What do you want to become? What area of your life would you like to be "rich" in? Rich people model successful people. Who do you model? Who comes to mind right now that you would like to model? It is difficult getting other people to change. You might say it is fruitless. Darkness dissipates with even the tiniest glimmer of light. The more light that enters, the more darkness dissipates. In the same respect, energy is "contagious." The more energy that accumulates, the more contagious it becomes. How can you begin to introduce light over some form of darkness? How can you build positive energy? Harv suggests that you consider what you want while staying calm and peaceful. And he restates, "Nothing has meaning except for the meaning you give it." If you want to fly with the eagles, don't swim with the ducks. Rich people soar with the eagles.

A Book in Time's Commentary:

PPS CLIP:

Professionally:  From a business perspective, I extract "rich" to be a form of financial wealth, and I choose to operate from a positive, enlightened, and ambitious frame of mind. I am eager to learn from those who have already figured out how to be successful. I learn from them and model my thoughts after theirs, ultimately leading to successful actions. Associating with like-minded people striving to "be better" is a stepping stone to financial success.

Personally:  More important to me than being "rich" financially is being "rich" personally. I continually work to enrich my life and my relationships, especially with family and close friends. Developing "rich" relationships with neighbors and extended family is important in a church or community. Iron sharpens iron, and becoming rich in personal relationships is as sharp as it gets.

Spiritually:  Being "rich'"spiritually makes me the wealthiest of all. This is the ultimate wealth and also the most accessible type of wealth.

"If we have not developed a reservoir of spiritual wealth, no amount of money is likely to make us happy. Spiritual wealth provides faith. It gives us love. It brings and expands wisdom. Spiritual wealth leads to happiness because it guides us into useful or loving relationships."

John Templeton

"The marvelous thing about spiritual wealth is that when we take our part in that, everyone else is blessed; whereas if we refused to be partakers, we hinder others from entering into the riches of God."

Oswald Chambers
