A look at: Secrets of the Millionaire Mind (cont)

DECLARATION 1:  "My inner world creates my outer world."

According to Harv:

As T. Harv Eker states, "The only way to change our outer world is to first change our inner world." A powerful secret for change is to "declare" something emphatically, out loud. A declaration is a statement of energy, generally stated out loud. By making statements out loud, we are sending a powerful message through our ears as well as to our subconscious minds. This process allows the energy to flow through the cells of our body. And within this particular book, Harv calls us to touch our forehead and proclaim, "I have a millionaire mind." Harv suggests that you can feel its unique resonance by touching and vocalizing simultaneously. Declarations state an intention to undergo a particular course of action. Compare this to affirmations, which state something is happening that has not actually happened yet. Our minds know it isn't true at this time, and that doesn't always sit well. We must be willing to let go of some of our old ways of thinking, doing, and being. We cannot change the already-produced fruits, but we can nurture new ones.

A Book in Time's Commentary:

PPS CLIPS:

Professionally:  I have experienced that my career progress is hindered when I have a negative inner world. And also how declaring intentions out loud has lifted my spirits and transformed my energy, even to the degree that my business preparations have taken off. Before this, I thought about business ideas for months to almost a year. After declaring aloud that my inner world creates my outer world, it truly felt like my desire increased, and the mind "took notice" and sent positive energy, ideas, and resources into motion. My thoughts led to feelings, and my feelings led to actions, and a 20-page Business Plan was established in less than a week!

Personally:  I had never really thought about the difference between a declaration and an affirmation until T. Harv Eker brought light to the difference. This may be an indirect reason why I was not prone to making positive affirmations. With declarations, however, I am stating an intention, and my mind is determined to follow through on what I am saying. This has been very effective in reprogramming the files in my mind. It may or may not work for you as well. But it doesn't hurt to try!

Spiritually:  When I am at peace with my inner world, my outer world reflects it. I am able to see difficulties or obstacles as opportunities or possibilities. I trust that as I reprogram my inner world to have faith, confidence, and a gentleness about it, this calmness actually opens my mind up to more dependency on God for strength and to more possible solutions that a tense and worrisome mind would repress.
